Our mission is to empower women with the mental and physical means of defeating their attacker, to develop a warrior spirit of confidence and preparedness, increasing freedom and peace—of—mind. What is a warrior spirit? A firm belief in one’s ability to win!
What does “empowered” mean? One definition is “equipped.” Saying you are “empowered” to defend yourself is the same as saying you are “equipped” to defend yourself, equipped with the mental and physical means to defeat your opponents. When all is said and done, every precaution to insure safety is taken and the assault still happens, you only have two means of survival, your individual ability to defeat your attacker, or your ability to get help from others to do so. Below are stories of empowerment and tips on empowering yourself.
Kortney Blatter, Attack Survivor"This world can be a scary place, but I never want to be an unnecessary victim because I didn't do everything I could to be prepared."
Jordan Chamberlain, Snowboarder, Surfer, Skateboarder, Mountain Runner, Student“I don’t feel paranoid anymore. I can go out and enjoy myself. I love my D.A.D.® 2.”
Bre Lasley, Stabbing Attack Survivor“When I put this on my hand, I felt safe for the first time since my attack.”
Gloria Marcott, Self-Defense Master“We are all so much stronger than we give ourselves credit for, we just don't know it until we start focusing on our own personal safety, and it's absolutely necessary.”
