BIO Steve Kardian:

Steve Kardian is an American career law enforcement officer, detective, sergeant, chief criminal investigator, and contractor for the United States Marshals Service. Kardian lectures, teaches, and consults internationally—speaking frequently in the national media as law enforcement consultant and safety expert. He has amassed over 1000 TV interviews on high profile cases.
Steve has been Inside Edition’s safety and law enforcement expert for 14 years. He is a frequent guest and contributor to Fox News, Fox & Friends, Dr. OZ, GMA, ABC World News, The Today Show, CNN, HLN, Dr. Drew, CBS, NBC, Men’s Journal, the New York Times, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Women’s Day, All About You Magazine, Best Life Magazine, Real Simple Magazine, USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Sports Illustrated and many others.
Steve is the founder of the Jane-Jitsu Women’s Empowerment, Safety and Self-defense Program. Steve trains thousands of people each year on safety, as well as strategies and tactics uniquely tailored to women’s safety.
Steve was a senior defensive tactics instructor at the Westchester County Police Academy. His students have included members of the FBI, DEA, US Treasury Department, NY State Police, NYPD, Army Rangers, Navy Seals, the DELTA forces, London's Metropolitan Police, Ireland's Garda Siochana, and the Israeli Security Agency under the Prime Minister's Office (Shin Bet).
Steve is the author of The New Super Power For Women – Trust Your Intuition – Predict Dangerous Situations – Defend Yourself From The Unthinkable (Simon & Schuster-2017). Experts in the field refer to this book as an “encyclopedia of safety for women!”
